Job Description
We’re looking for an individual that can work at a methodical pace and maintain a strong focus while using deadlines help prioritize day and stick to the tasks at hand. Our ideal candidate is task-driven, detail-oriented, punctual and conscientious and enjoys checking for accuracy. We’re also looking for a true team player who’s willing to go above and beyond to help his or her coworkers out.
Key components of the job will be operating:
- Bindery and/or mailing functions
- High speed folders
- Programmable cutters
- Gluing equipment
- Collators
- Mailing machine inserters
- High speed inkjet printers
A typical day includes:
- Setting up and producing finished product utilizing mechanical and electronic equipment available, following mailing regulations and standards
- Making jobs run the most efficiently as possible by utilizing the correct equipment and maintaining highest quality
- Loading and unloading equipment regularly, and being on your feet up to an 8 hour shift
- Troubleshooting equipment and production problems to ensure proper standards are maintained
- Following maintenance plans and do light repairs when necessary
So if you have the right stuff, we want to hear from you. While a background in print and understanding of USPS mailing regulations is preferred, we are willing to train the right individual. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work 40 hours per week and occasional weekends and evenings with some flexibility in your schedule to allow for fast turn-around projects.
